New Post- I will keep up my blog.

I have decided to use The Treadwell Times as a way to social network with family and friends. I also want to archive my life with my sweet girl and this is a great way to do that. I am so inspired by other blogs that I subscribe to and as I work on the Treadwell Times, I hope to post their links/blogs so that you can be inspired, also.

Maybe out at the Mexican Restuarant after church

Long Time No Write

Ok. I am making a new resolution to keep up with this blog. I enjoy reading other blogs soo much and doing so has definitely inspired me to blog for myself. I am not sure what I will blog on. Mostly, I believe that it will be my family's life, recipes that we enjoy, motherhood, gardening, working mother information and just a hodge-podge of things I enjoy in my life. So today, I will blog about my little angel Lydia. She is the light of my life! Here she is holding a daffodil that we just planted this fall. Surprisingly, they all come up. My sweetheart niece (Hanna) helped me plant the bulbs and they have come up and are beautiful. Needless to say, Lydia loves picking them. It is really hard for me to get onto her for doing so as she looks so cute holding the flower and exploring something that is pretty and smells good.

The Weekend at Home

This past weekend, I got alot done in the house. I also spent some quality time with Lydia. We had so much fun playing outside. The weather has been beautiful. With living in a new house, sometimes it seems you are just "away" and it doesn't quite feel like home. It is now going on the first month there and it is feeling more "home-like" everyday. The more I move decor around or hang this picture here or there, it makes it more and more real that this is where we actually live! I do enjoy it so much. There is so much I want to do. It just seems that it will take a while because money only goes so far and there is so much to get. That is half the fun of it though, finding steals at yardsales or a special item at the flea mall. Which reminds me.......I found (actually my hubby found) a great living room set (sofa and loveseat) at a yard sale Friday. We were in much need of something to put down in our den since there was nothing there. We haven't been able to use the space really since there was nothing to sit on. So we brought it home! It is just great. It is really cozy and each peice as a recliner at each end (4 recliners in all) How much, you ask??? $200.00. Yes, $TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS$. A great find, not a tear or stain or smelly place anywhere!!!

Until next post,
Life is Good, God is Good!

First Blog

This is my very first blog. I have been thinking about what exactly it is I want to accomplish in doing this. I mainly want to blog about my life and family and our daily day to day activities. In those daily things you can find the treasures that life is truly made of. So, here we go. Enjoy the journey with me.
